8 tips to attract visitors to your exhibition stand

Visitors have been walking around the exhibition for a few hours and their stomachs are starting to grumble (I know mine would be). Offering free snacks and/or drinks could prove beneficial as this will give you an opportunity to engage in conversation with your visitors while they’re enjoying their free snack/refreshment. A ‘hook’ is someone who attracts customers to the stand and a ‘spotter’ is someone who approaches people and ushers them over to the exhibition stand. Having an enthusiastic team on board is key to a successful show!

5. Create a corporate dress code

Visitors want to be able to identify you when they approach your stand – don’t make them search for your staff! The dress code doesn’t have to be formal, but a smart/casual dress code not only creates a professional look, but also provides a friendly and more approachable environment.
